National Standard Hive made from seasoned pine. Consists of 1 brood box, 2 supers, One floor unit, 1 roof, 1 queen excluder, 1 crown board with porter escape, 11 Brood frames with premium wired foundation and 22 super frames with premier wired foundation. Tools included: Hive tool, Smoker, bee brush, ratchet strap, rapid feeder & entrance feeder

This beehive is fully ready to house a colony of bees, however the hive should be painted with a bee friendly paint or stain before being put into use in the outdoor elements. Shanballymore Apiary recommend Cupinol Garden Shades which will give 5 year protection before needing to apply further coats .
