3 Layer Beekeeping Suit

Description

We have commissioned and sourced a new sting proof bee suit. It comes with thumb straps, foot straps, metal zip (not plastic) and fencing veil. It is a 3 layer ventilated suit and comes in White or Khaki. It comprises of 2 layers of polyester mesh and 1 layer of latex mesh (foaming mesh) 5mm deep (bee stinger is circa 2.5mm long) between the polyester layers. These suits provide a safer and cooler working experience with no compromise on quality or safety. This suit utilises a veil so you must ensure the veil does not touch your skin to avoid the opportunity to get stung. There is a Velcro stick built into the top of the veil to help keep the veil away from your face. .

Warning – No bee suit can be classified as 100% Sting proof. If you are allergic to bee venom or bee venom induces anaphylactic shock then it is strongly advised to avoid beekeeping activities or any other activity that can bring you into close proximity to bees.
